  1. x64 Assembly and C++ Tutorial 30: Bit Test Instructions
    Duration: 18:18

Description: In this tutorial we'll be looking at the Bit Test instructions. There's 4 of them, BT, BTC, BTR and BTS. They all perform a bit test but through using the C/R or S options you can optionally compliment, reset to 0 or set 1, the bit that you test. These instructions treat all of RAM as a single bit array. For example you could index the 1024th bit from the byte RAX is pointing to with: mov bx, 1024 bt word ptr [rax], bx Note that you can't make RAX point to the 6th bit of a byte. x86 and x64 architectures only allow byte addressing. You can also check bits in a negative direction since the second operand (if it's a register) is seen as signed!

In this lesson you will: -Create the InputStream -Create the OutputStream -create a data array that gets the available data from the resource -read and write InputStream -Write the data to the phone -Bam! -Some other sweet stuff -subscribe -Thumbs up this video ;) This video is the 27th in a web series that I am creating to help you learn Android programming so you can create apps and eventually how to learn to write games for android phones. I want to explain things in a way that everyone can understand, even if you have no experience with Java, XML, C++, OpenGL, or as a matter of fact, any other programming language. If you do have a lot of experience with programming, these first videos will be really slow for you, but my goal is to get everyone sprinting, but for now we have learn to crawl. follow me on twitter: @cornboyz

    Duration: 01:12:38

Description: Speaker: FX of Phenoelit Instruction Set Reverse Engineering The Reverse Engineer occasionally faces situations where even his most advanced commercial tools do not support the instruction set of an arcane CPU. To overcome this situation, one can develop the missing disassembler. This talk is meant to be a tutorial on how to approach the task, what to focus on first and what surprises one may be in for. The primary focus will be on the transformation of byte code back into mnemonic representation where only the reverse transformation is available (ie you have the respective assembler). It also covers how to integrate your new disassembler into your reverse engineering tool chain. This tutorial talk will give: ?An introduction to the problem ?How to obtain byte code ?Recognizing basic properties of the byte code ?Finding Addressing Modes ?Implementing a IDA Pro processor module ?Reading code you are not supposed to For more information To download the video visit:

Some possible workarounds. From jayekaiser in the comments here: "There is a work-around for the audio stream issue, get audacity and install the ffmpeg library. You can then export the? audio tracks from your .avi file, and import them manually into premiere - works like a charm!" Another solution would be to import the file into a program like Sony Vegas or VirtualDub and export the audio streams separately. One final workaround, In dxtory there is a tool called AVImux, green box bottom left. With it you can export individual audio tracks or mix your 2 tracks into? a single audio track and adjust the volumes before mixing.

  8. TISHITU (Tutorial 8051 LED Blinking in Keil Compiler & Proteus simulator ) Part-1/2
    Duration: 13:22

Description: Proteus is an execution-driven parallel-computer simulator which simulates message-passing and shared-memory parallel computers. It can simulate several network types and memory configurations; additional ones can be added by users. It has extensive facilities for collecting and displaying simulation data. Programs to run on the simulated system are written in an extended version of C. 8051 The Intel 8051 is an 8-bit microcontroller which means that most available operations are limited to 8 bits. There are 3 basic "sizes" of the 8051: Short, Standard, and Extended. The Short and Standard chips are often available in DIP (dual in-line package) form, but the Extended 8051 models often have a different form factor, and are not "drop-in compatible". All these things are called 8051 because they can all be programmed using 8051 assembly language, and they all share certain features (although the different models all have their own special features). Some of the features that have made the 8051 popular are: 64 KB on chip program memory. 128 bytes on chip data memory(RAM). $ reg banks. 128 user defined software flags. 8-bit data bus 16-bit address bus 32 general purpose registers each of 8 bits 16 bit timers (usually 2, but may have more, or less). 3 internal and 2 external interrupts. Bit as well as byte addressable RAM area of 16 bytes. Four 8-bit ports, (short models have two 8-bit ports). 16-bit program counter and data pointer. 1 Microsecond instruction cycle with 12 MHz ...

  15. C# Audio Tutorial 8 - EffectStream Part 2
    Duration: 10:04

Description: In this tutorial I build upon Tutorial 5 to extract the floating point information from our audio file. We use WaveChannel32 to perform the floating point conversion for us, and then use the BitConverter class to convert the byte array to an actual float that we can use in our code. The idea would then be to apply an effect to this floating point number. After the effect is applied, we need to convert the float back to a byte array, and then load the byte array into our buffer for NAudio to play. Sample code and a demo wave file are available on my website.

  24. x64 Assembly and C++ Tutorial 11: Pointers and the LEA Instruction
    Duration: 14:39

Description: In this, the 11th, tutorial I want to introduce the concept of pointers. Pointers are just numbers in Assembly. The basic adding and subtracting from pointers works in Assembly just like in C++ but in Assembly pointer arithmetic is always in bytes, not whatever datatype the pointer is pointing to. The concepts presented here are perhaps more difficult in theory than practice. In future tutorials we'll use lots of pointers and it will be clear that there is nothing difficult or confusing about them. As C++ programmers you'll likely most of this stuff. The LEA instruction loads the number that a particular label stands for (variables in Assembly are labels in the data segment). The Instruction: mov bx, MyWord Rather deceptively means something more like: mov bx, word ptr [MyWord] If you wish to load the address of this dword label, you should use LEA, load effective address: lea rbx, MyWord We haven't gone into the details of LEA but it is a magical little instruction. There are some surprisingly unintuitive but clever uses for it, not to do with pointers and not immediately obvious.
