This is a child-sized red army hat. Chairman Mao Zedong ("Mao") was the leader of China's Communist party from 1949 until his death in 1976. Communist China originally followed the ways of the U.S.S.R. until the two countries disagreed and Mao began taking China in a new direction. In 1948 Mao started the first collective in Henan, China and soon there were collectives all over the country. This period is known as The Great Leap forward, but actually millions of people died from the period of 1949-1951. During this period more people died in terms of mass numbers than during Pol Pot's regime in Cambodia. The Cultural Revolution is probably the most well-known period to come out of China, which lasted from 1966-1976, although 1966-1971 were the most turbulent years. During the Cultural Revolution many intellectuals, and those with foreign ties, and eventually everyone in the country was targeted for re-education. Although Mao led his people through periods of great social and economic hardship, he remained one of the most beloved leaders in world history while alive, and even after his death. This is a Mao hat which was used in Mao's Red Army. There is a Red Army star on the hat.

This product contains the following film(s): Film Title: China Leaps Forward (1958) 49 Minutes In 1958 Mao Zedong implemented 'The Great Leap Forward,' a social and economic plan to transform Chinese society from agrarian to modern communist. "China Leaps Forward," is one American news reporter's take on the program, as he documents the patriotism, culture and industry of the Chinese people in Tianjin and Bejing. The reporter, having spent time in China thirty years earlier, points out some of the most noticeable changes and takes a more neutral stance (though there is still an American slant) on Chinese policy than many of the films coming out at the same time.

The Korean War is known to many as the 'forgotten war'. Resulting from a 'tug-o-war' between major world powers and the division of one country, the war would be a haunting legacy that would continue to plague Koreans and the United Nations for generations.
Despite an armistice, that legacy would create a tragic path that continues, even to this day, to keep two nations on the brink of war, where peace, it seems, is more about continued sparring than ending the heart-wrenching and sometimes inhumane existences of so many millions of suffering peoples.
With a history of varied offensives, battles, sieges, raids and operations, some of which were successful and others which did nothing to aid the situation, the road that led Koreans and others to war must be understood in order to plan a peaceful future that both North and South Koreans can one day enjoy.
What follows is a short history of the war, the key figures, and the battles and politics involved.

Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, George W. Bush, John Kerry, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Newt Gingrich, David Rockefeller, Lord Jacob Rothschild, John McCain they re all profiled here. Disclosures from once highly classified documents give us incredible new information about the Nixon White House, the forced resignation of Vice President Spiro Agnew, and the Jack Ruby-Bill Clinton connection. Kennedy; the attack on Christianity by Michael Jackson s Jewish rabbi; the hidden bloodline of conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh and how it affects his performance on air; the final testament and warning of Protestant Reformer Martin Luther; the stunning two million dollar bribe paid to President Harry Truman; the Babylonian black magic practiced by kabbalistic rabbis; and the real reason why U.S. military forces are in the Middle East. Conspiracy of the Six-Pointed Star digs deep into the abyss and uncovers things the controlled media dare not even imagine. The most authoritative life of the Chinese leader every written, Mao: The Unknown Story is based on a decade of research, and on interviews with many of Maoâs close circle in China who have never talked before â and with virtually everyone outside China who had significant dealings with him. It is full of startling revelations, exploding the myth of the Long March, and showing a completely unknown Mao: he was not driven by idealism or ideology; his intimate and intricate relationship with Stalin went back to the 1920s, ultimately bringing him to power; he welcomed Japanese occupation of much of China; and he schemed, poisoned, and blackmailed to get his way. After Mao conquered China in 1949, his secret goal was to dominate the world. In chasing this dream he caused the deaths of 38 million people in the greatest famine in history. In all, well over 70 million Chinese perished under Maoâs rule â in peacetime.
