Noam Scheiber () is a senior editor for The New Republic.[1] He is a Rhodes Scholar and he holds a masters degree in economics from Oxford University and a bachelors degree in mathematics from Tulane University. He has contributed to numerous other news sources including The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, CNBC and National Public Radio. His book, The Escape Artists: How Obama's Team Fumbled the Recovery was released on February 28, 2012 and provides an insider perspective on the Obama administration's economic team and their handling of the economic recovery. The first excerpt of the book was published in The New Republic.[2]
